TRANSFORMATIONS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE

ROBYN STRONACH

At 59, Robyn walked into F45 feeling embarrassed, overweight, and close to losing hope. “It’s not just a cliché — F45 has basically saved my life.” Now 62, she’s healthier, happier, and full of energy. “The myth is no, it’s not too hard — and yes, you can do it. I’m proof.” What started as a step toward better health became her lifeline. “This is my outlet. I finally feel really healthy — and I feel great.”

John Doble

After a total hip replacement at 60, John walked into F45 North Langley looking to regain strength — and found a transformation far beyond the physical. “It says life changing on the wall, but that doesn’t even describe it. What happens inside of you is metamorphosis.” With every class, his balance, energy, and confidence returned. “It’s a family. F45 is a family. It’s never ever too late to start.”

Charlie Ransford

After battling cancer three times, Charlie joined F45 Siglap to rebuild his strength — and his confidence. “Was I too old? Was I going to be embarrassed? All that was nonsense once I walked through the door.” Now 72, he trains alongside his wife, finding joy and belonging in the F45 community. “It’s a really good feeling — a feeling of belonging.” For Charlie, F45 helped him stay strong through life’s hardest moments.

Kathy Tamai

At 65, Kathy joined F45 Venice after seeing an Instagram ad — and it changed her life. “I never thought I could get as fit as I am now.” Once intimidated by gyms, she’s now stronger, more confident, and genuinely happy. “After I turned 60, I thought it was all downhill from here — but it’s not. It’s just a fun, positive, high-energy atmosphere. I love it.”

Al Chabassol

After surviving a triple bypass at 73, Al found new life at F45 Curtis. “When I started at F45, I literally couldn’t do one push-up.” Now, he’s lifting weights he never thought possible — thriving in a place he calls family. “Everybody’s there to encourage and to smile and high-five. It’s a family working together.” Al is living proof it’s never too late to start again.

Robert Pierre

After being diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Robert refused to let cancer define his life. “It was devastating — but I wasn’t going to let this thing stop me from achieving what I want.” At 56, he found strength, purpose, and support at F45 Pompano Beach. “F45 keeps me going — not just physically, but mentally as well. It’s been life-changing.”

Amelia Abdullahsani

At 52, Amelia joined F45 Anjong Katong having never exercised a day in her life. “Before, you couldn’t even see me run for 5 minutes. When I turned 50, I ran my first half marathon.” Today, she’s training for a full one, fueled by the support of her coaches and community. “They make you not just do better, but feel better.” For Amelia, this journey has been nothing short of amazing.

Bradley Romp

When Bradley was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, he lost sensation in most of his body. “I’d stand in front of a mirror with a one-pound weight, praying to God I’d get some strength back.” Now 64, he’s stronger than ever and grateful for how far he’s come. “I refuse to let MS define me — I define MS.” With F45 New Tampa, Bradley found power, balance, and a purpose beyond himself.

Nancy Kochmann

After two hip replacements and a battle with osteoporosis, Nancy refused to give in. “I thought, I’m that lady that retires, falls apart, and dies. I didn’t want to be that.” At 63, F45 West Fargo became her turning point. “F45 took me from physical therapy to physical wellness.” With every class, she grew stronger, steadier, and more at home in her own skin. “It’s transformed me from who I wanted to be in my head to who I am now.”

Roben Nurgitz

When Roben moved to Edmonton at 62, she was seeking community, strength, and renewal after years of struggling with menopausal symptoms. “I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to keep up, but it just brought me back to where I needed to be.” Through F45 Westmount, she rediscovered her athleticism and confidence. “Age has nothing to do with it — you can grow strength, grow muscle, and keep moving. You can do it.”

NKY IWEKA

At 56, Nky joined F45 Kensal Green determined to “future-proof” her body. “I don’t want anyone picking up things for me or helping me put on my shoes when I’m older.” Despite severe knee issues, she rebuilt her strength and confidence through functional training. “F45 has been a life changer for me. I felt safe. I felt cared for. It’s really for all ages.” Her goal? “To be that granny running down the ski slope with my grandchildren.”
